Sarah Weaver : Composer

Sarah Weaver is the Executive Director of the JackTrip Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to driving continued innovation of network arts technologies and widespread adoption. JackTrip is a system for high-quality audio network performance over the internet developed by Chris Chafe and colleagues at the Center for Computer Research in Music and Acoustics (CCRMA) at Stanford University. JackTrip has been in use since the early 2000’s by a large community of artists and technologists for contemporary network arts performance. Since the Covid-19 pandemic, JackTrip Foundation and JackTrip Labs were formed to alleviate the impact on ensembles and musical arts organizations in the wider public through programs and technology developments.
