Sarah Weaver Ensemble

Sarah Weaver Ensemble is the primary performing group for her solo, chamber, and large ensemble works. The group performs throughout New York and serves as New York site musicians in the NowNet Arts Ensemble for collaborations via the internet. The modular roster features pioneering musicians from jazz, classical, world, and electronic music including Ray Anderson, trombone, Jane Ira Bloom, soprano saxophone, Samir Chatterjee, tabla, Yoon Sun Choi, voice, Robert Dick, flutes, Mark Dresser, bass, Marty Ehrlich, woodwinds, Amir ElSaffar, trumpet/voice/santur, Julie Ferrara, oboe, english horn, Mark Helias, bass, Gerry Hemingway, drumset, Oliver Lake, alto saxophone, Denman Maroney, piano, Miya Masaoka, koto, Joe McPhee, multiple instruments, Sam Pluta, electronics, Ned Rothenberg, woodwinds, Ursel Schlicht, piano, Sara Schoenbeck, bassoon, Jen Shyu, voice, Satoshi Takeishi, percussion, Dave Taylor, bass trombone, Doug Van Nort, electronics, Min Xiao-Fen, pipa, James Zollar, trumpet, Sarah Weaver, conductor.
