Transmission Series is a set of contemplative contemporary works for solo, chamber, and large ensemble performance. The works include my compositions and collaborations from 2022 to 2025. This recording builds upon my earlier projects including the Synthesis Series, Synchrony Series, and Source Series-compositions since 1998 that inform my broader compositional approach and system. The Transmission Series is conceptually inspired by the physical and metaphorical dynamics of transmission, including synthesis-based motion and the flow of technology through digital media. Broader concepts I have developed in earlier works such as integral synthesis, multidimensional resonance, and interconnection continue to inform this work. My concept of "here" as a composite location, a layered reality, a sustained resonance, and a transmission of synchrony has been especially illuminated through this series.

The Composers Now Festival celebrates living composers, the diversity of their voices, and the significance of their musical contributions to our society. During the month of February, the Festival brings together myriad performances ranging in genre from jazz to indie, classical to post-classical, experimental to folk, and beyond. Composers will be in attendance at all events. Composers Now is a project partner of The Fund for the City of New York.
